Awesome Sauce Indie Box - Inspired by Lisa Frank

*Press Sample*

Hello!! Its been almost a month since I've posted a proper blog post! Ugh! I went to Polish Con and then my professional work life took over. Even though its Monday (boo!) it's still awesome! Why you ask? Because today I've got the latest Awesome Sauce Indie Box for you!

This month's box is inspired by the art of Lisa Frank. If you grew up in the 80's or 90's I'm willing to bet you had something with Lisa Frank's art on it.  I seem to recall having some shirts, notebooks, a Trapper-Keeper (who remembers those?!) and likely some other fun, colorful things!  When I found out about this box I went and found Lisa Frank on Instagram and had to share this posting! So let's jump right in and check out the box!

Ever After Polish - Let's Be Frank
This is a bright, bubblegum pink scattered holographic with flashes of pink/violet/blue iridescent shimmer. This has a slightly thicker formula but applied easily in two coats for full opacity.

Direct Sunlight
Lavish Polish - Chasing Rainbows
This is an orchid purple scattered holographic with blue fleck shimmer. I thought this had a great consistency and two coats was total perfection. See it sparkle in the sunlight!

Direct Sunshine
Anonymous Lacquer - Dream Like a Unicorn
This is an indigo blue/purple linear holographic with subtle purple shimmer. A beautiful, bold blue with great formula - almost a one coat wonder!

Different Dimension - Stargazer
Different Dimension is the guest maker for this month's box and WOW what a statement! Stargazer is a clear base with silver holographic micro-glitter plus white and neon matte glitter. This is a full coverage glitter and I used three coats for complete coverage. I also added a few of the star glitters that came with the extra's.

The Extra's!
This month's box comes with a few extras, including water slide decals from Green Goddess Creations, a large rainbow nail file, a little bag of neon start glitter and a cuticle balm sample from Anonymous Lacquer.

This is the second sample of the cuticle balm from Anonymous and I really like it. Its fluffy and thick but soaks in really nice without being super greasy.  I'm sold that I need a full size of this balm in my life!

And how on-point are these water slide decals from Green Goddess Creations?! Be sure to check my Instagram later this week for a nail art look using them!

The October Awesome Sauce Box is available as a pre-order until October 15th in the Awesome Sauce Box shop! The full size set is $40.00 plus shipping and a mini set is listed for $25.00. Those purchasing the box can also buy extra sheets of the water-slide decals for $4.50 each!

Tell me what you think about this box! Which colors are your favorites? Did you grow up with Lisa Frank art and memorabilia too? I'd love to hear from you!
Be sure to like Awesome Sauce Indie Box on Instagram and join the Facebook fan group to see more swatches and stay up to date!
