Lou it Yourself "In-Betweeons" Collection

*Press Sample*

Here come the In-Betweeons from Lou It Yourself!

Before we jump into my swatches and review I wanted to share a little more with you about the inspiration for this new collection.  You may already be familiar with the Bright Ideas Collection from Lou which has several amazing neon polishes.

This manicure Lou did inspired her to create the "In Betweeons" Collection. She told me, "I was stamping and I did all the Bright Ideas at once in a rainbow and I wiped off my card on my mat. This is that swipe. You can see all the In-Betweeons shades right there."

It took awhile to find the right mix of colors/pigments to create the shades but I think you will find the outcome was worth all of Lou's effort! The result is some unique and sophisticated shades.

This is a collection of 8 gorgeous cremes that fit right in between the Bright Ideas Collection. Bold, beautiful, sophisticated neons that don't quite know where they fit in!

For my swatches below I did not use any white "undies". Application was pretty consistent throughout the collection and I got opacity on 2-3 coats depending on your application style. These polishes stamp and watermarble as well! I love when polishes can serve multiple purposes!

Lets start with the pinks!
This is Neither Here Nor There and you can decide what color you think this is. I call it a neon watermelon pink creme.

I couldn't stop thinking about this shade as watermelon. So when I was looking at my new UberChic Beauty plates from Collection 9 I had to do some reverse stamping with the watermelon images on plate 9-01.  Agree to Disagree from the collection also lended itself nicely for this look.

This is Playing Both Sides, a rosey magenta neon creme. A personal favorite of mine from the collection.

In addition to the eight beautiful shades from the In-Betweeons Collection, Lou also sent me a new rainbow flakie top coat called Suns Out, Guns Out.  Its part of the upcoming Rainbro Connection Collection (the name of which cracks me up!).  This topcoat is awesome over polish or nail art. You can also use it as a flakie gradient (more to come on that!)

This is Riding the Fence and it's a perfect pumpkin red neon creme. I'm not usually a fan of orange, but how can you not like this color, its hot! I had this on my toes for the opening of our  community pool and I got a number of comments on how bright and beautiful it was!

This sunny yellowy-orange-ish neon is Not Quite There...but don't tell it that! This color is such a rich yellow. Perfect for Summer!

Between a Rock and A Hard Place is a lemon-lime neon creme. This is radioactive neon, no joke!

This is Agree to Disagree and even though its neon it's actually more of a neon Kelly green in person. Which is great for me cause I love kelly green.

Which brings us to Undecided, a light blue neon creme. Blue is my favorite color so naturally this is a stand out for me. The hue is just so stunning!

Last but not least we have A Little of This, a deep grape neon that's got the blues.

Remember how I said you could use Suns Out, Guns Out for a gradient? Well here you go! I just applied with a eye shadow applicator for this look. Super easy!

There you have it! Tell me what you think of the collection, do you have a favorite? I'd love to hear from you!

Be sure to check out this image of the entire spectrum of the Bright Ideas and In-Betweeons neon cremes all together brought to you by my friend Lacquered Mama. She also has some great swatches of how these amazing neons stamp over on her blog!

Suns Out, Guns Out (flakie top coat) will be available within the next month or so. More to come on that!
