Femme Fatale & Fabulous Feathers

Its Friday! Time for Femme Fatale and some fabulous feathers!

rarely post about a singular mani I do. Honestly I've been so overwhelmed with the options when it comes to nail art lately that I can't seem to decide what to do. Recently I wrote a review on the new Colors by Llarowe aka CbL stamping polishes (read that here) and I have been really wanting to use Turquoise holo (Turq'd) again.

Then my new Fabulous Feathers plate from UberChic Beauty arrived and I've been wanting to feather stamp all my mani's.

From UberChic: Feathers. Decadent, artistic or even just used an accent - these boho chic feathers will leave nothing out in your plate line collection! From the proud Peacock feather that shimmers in the sun to the Hawk and Eagle that surveys the land - this nail stamp plate is perfect for feather lovers of all kinds.  Find a feather that suits you and fly with it... ;)

Fun fact: This plate theme was originally brought to UberChic Beauty as an idea from Carolina from Colores de Carol!

Anyways enter my fascination with Femme Fatale polishes from Australia. I get these beauties from my favorite importer here in the U.S. Beautometry. I recently fell in love with Jasmine from the Enchanted Fables Collection. Described as a clear-teal (warm to cold) thermal with a strong luminous green overlay. The transition between warm and cold was described as extremely minimal in the original swatches.

Thermal polishes and thermal pigment can change from one batch to the next and while the shift in this was supposed to be more subtle it clearly has a more pronounced warm tone. But this polish also likes to hover around in a pretty gorgeous "mid state".

I wanted to somehow tie in that turquoise base (cold) color when it got warm but not overwhelm the cold state color. Turq'd seemed like the perfect compliment. The image is pronounced in its warm state but subtle in its cold.  It's sort of like a disappearing act I guess.

Tell me what you think of this mani! Have you tried any products from these brands? Want to recreate this mani or something like it! Find all these amazing indie products via the shopping guide below!
