Ladies around the country now have two new reasons to look forward to springtime – and both are
simply stunning! Kismet Cosmetics recently launched its 2016 spring/summer product line with the addition of two new Velvet Collection semi-matte lipsticks: Kitten and Just Peachy. You all are going to fall in love with the versatility of the new shades.
I've written about Kismet Cosmetics a number of times here at Polish & Plates. This Louisiana based business was founded by licensed makeup artist Caitlin Picou in 2013. Kismet sells high quality, on-trend cosmetic products including Opulent Body Bronzing Lotion (click here for my review), Velvet Collection semi-matte lipsticks (click here for my review), Succulent Collection liquid lipsticks, Kismet Nail Colour nail polishes and Lovely Collection of Face & Body Illuminators (click here for my review).
So when Kismet asked if I'd be interested in reviewing the new spring lip shades, of course I said yes! Lets jump right in to Spring!
Kitten is a retro 1950s powder pink that can easily make a sexy statement! Pair it with a simple winged eye and Lovely Collection Illuminator for a complete retro look.
Just Peachy provides a natural, light lippy that will lighten and brighten any overall look. It goes well with bolder eyes; or keep it au naturel with simple makeup all around.
The formula with both of these lipsticks is creamy and light, its not sticky and it did not dry out my lips. Each is color packed and I found that my color lasted and lasted and lasted.
Like all Velvet Collection lipsticks, Kitten and Just Peachy are long lasting and moisturizing, lacking gluten, talc, lanolin and parabens. And, as are all Kismet products, both shades are cruelty free and made in the U.S.A
