My World Sparkles 'Black Opal' New Years Inspired Nails

 *Press Sample*

I can't believe its almost 2016!! Where did the year go? Well, its been a CRAZY year with tons of changes for me so I know exactly where it went!  I don't do New Years Resolutions but I do look at a new year as a fresh beginning. I'm excited about all of what lays ahead in our first full year living out our dream in Colorado.

To that end I have another polish and pamper gem for you today from Colorado Springs based My World Sparkles and its a perfect polish for your New Years Eve or Date Night mani!

Black Opal was inspired by the beautiful gemstone. This is a semi translucent black with lots of opalescent glitters to add extra sparkle.  Its hard to capture the depth of sparkle in this polish.  Upon receiving it I immediately thought how great it would look pared with Holo Chromeo (also from MWS Lacquers) for a New Years inspired mani.

Because Black Opal is semi translucent it has a jelly like opacity to it. I found that 3 thin coats was exactly what I needed. The first two looked pretty streaky but the 3rd coat went on beautifully. As with any glitter polish I recommend turning it upside down for 10-15 minutes before using to get the best (and easiest) glitter pay off.

To add some New Years sparkle (or in my case Date Night with the hubs) I stamped over Black Opal with MPolish 'To Have and to Holo' stamping polish and a quatrafoil pattern plate (BP-L003) with my Creative Shop Stamper. I also added some iridescent glitter to my pinkie for some extra sparkle over the lovely silver holo.

The month of January also brings a new Pamper Gem (aka mani bomb) and this month's scent is sure to relax you after all the holiday action! This Paper Gem is filled with the scent of Lavender flowers and dried lavender buds. These little 'gems' (see what I did there?) contain quality ingredients like pure shea butter, Argan oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E as well as Almond and Avocado oils.

Just pop a Pamper Gem in some warm (not hot) water and treat your hands to some much needed moisture. Remember my tip! Use the same water to soak your feet afterwards! They will thank you!
You can buy Pamper Gems in singles or multiples.

Tell me what you think of Black Opal! I'd love to hear from you! Check out more beautiful polishes and other goodies at My World Sparkles Lacquers online store. Don't forget to LIKE them on Facebook and follow on Instagram too!
