#ITrustIndies - Support Indie Polish Makers Blogger Link-Up

There has been a lot of buzz lately about the indie polish community and not the kind of buzz that those of us who love indie polishes want to see. So a group of bloggers, including myself , wanted to show our love, support and admiration for some of our favorite indie brands via a link-up!

In no particular order I want to introduce you to some of my favorite indie brands. Not only do they sell fabulous polish but the women behind these brands should also be admired!

Mystic Muse Nail Lacquer launched in 2014 and was the very first brand to give little ol' me a shot at blogging and swatching for them. Known for upscale/ trendy colors that are 5 free!Home of the exclusive trademarked colored lacquer bottles. Be on the look out for their upcoming ReVamp Collection coming in September! This collection will include a number of changes to the look and feel of this brand, who is coming back better then ever!

I thought I'd share with you one of my personal favorite polish looks I did using Lady Katrina, Blue Skies and accented with Blue Skies & Poppy Fields. You can learn more about these polishes I used for this look here

Joy Polish also launched in 2014 and I have enjoyed a fun and exciting ride as a core swatcher/blogger for the brand. I am so inspired by Joy and the fun, attention to details she puts into her polish. Known for amazing glitters, thermals and incredible custom polishes her She's a Super Fan Collection gives all us sport fanatic lacquerista's a change to show our team spirit on our nails! Did you know she also has an amazing monthly Best of Seattle Beauty Box? For just $20.00 you get two #MadeinSeattle bath/body products as well as an exclusive lacquer color. The preorder for the October box opens Sept. 10th!

While I have so many Joy Polish colors that I love I have to talk about my own personal custom polish that Joy worked with me on, Aquamarine Dream. Aquamarine is my birthstone and although I've seen a number of aquamarine polishes marketed none of them seem to do this stunningly simple gemstone justice. Joy Lacquer helped create my 'Aquamarine Dream': a UV Aquamarine crelly filled with tons of iridescent glitter. When you step outside the polish shifts to a sky blue, sort of like how in your dreams reality tends to shift.
Check out all the Joy Lacquer polishes or create your very own by visiting her website! Lots of great stuff is coming (but I've been sworn to secrecy!) so stay tuned! Be sure to check out the Pot of Gold and Silver Lining flake toppers and her quick dry top coat! They are amazing!

Love, Angeline polish is my hometown indie polish bestie. Not only does Natosha make incredible polish but she also leads the #SpreadIndieLoveNotHate campaign. You can read more about this incredible women in an article I did for The Little Beauty Guide about her.

Today I'd love to share with you a custom polish that she gave me the opportunity to work on with her!  Meet "High Country Bloom" a dusty lavender polish with slight holo and snow white flakes. The inspiration for this polish is the painting, by the same name, you see below. Here in Colorado us lacquer lovers get together to celebrate indie polish and this Sunday we are painting this at our meet up. I of course will be wearing the matching polish! Be sure to keep an eye out for the new "Let's Have a Drink" Collection launching next week full of amazing jewel toned matte polishes that are equally stunning with a glossy top coat! These launch next week on LoveAngeline.com. Love, Angeline also has one of the best cuticles on the market so be sure to pick it up! She also makes great nail shields and mani crush fizzies! Learn more about them in my review.

Ever After Polish is one of my newer favorite brands. Founded in 2014 the brand has some amazing polishes and really appeals to the flake lover in me.  I first reviewed the I've Got the Magic in Me Collection which was just stunning from start to finish. Follow that up with a group custom, some others I got in swaps and now the Back to School duo and YEP! I'm a fan! Be sure to check out their website for the duo and upcoming fall collection! While your there be sure to check out their bath and body section! I love their mani fizzies and scrubs!

I could go on and on about my favorite indie polishes including Pahlish, Ever After, Il etait un Vernis, Midwest Lacquers, Gunpowder Lacquer, A England, Colors by Llarowe, piCture pOlish and so many others but we would be here all day! I have more info on all these brands and so many more on my blog. So check them all out! And while I know this link up will be mostly about indie polish I have to tell you about my favorite indie bath/body brands!

Love & Lotus Naturals has been making great bath and body products for years but only started selling them online in 2014. I try a lot of bath and body products and these are simply my favorite lotions and sugar scrubs ever. You must try the Sea Goddess foaming face wash - its simply amazing. So great for your skin! The whipped body butters and sugar soap scrubs are amazing! I recently reviewed the limited edition Boho box from Love and Lotus which you can check out here. New to her store is the fall Coffee and Tea Cakes collection for lotions and scrubs. With scents like Pumpkin Crunch Cake, Blackberry Jam Sugar Cookies and Butterscotch Affogato I'm dying for mine to get here!

Ouish Boutique opened in 2014 and I've been testing, reviewing and loving everything that Nadia has come out with. In my most recent post about the brand I reviewed her exotic face elixir and unique truffle buffs that are a cross between an in shower body balm and buffer! There are so many things to love from Ouish for both bath, body and even your home! Be sure to check out their online store and follow them on Facebook for a giveaway!

  2. I've tried just A-England, ILNP and LL. I've hearded good about Love, Angelique. It's sad living in Europe when the most part of indies are located in US.

    1. You don't need to be sad, check out Rainbow Connection in the UK for lots of indie imports!

    2. Many French retailers have indie brands, but sometimes their are most expensive than americans! I'm living in Italy and it's insane pay 15 euros just for trespassing Alps!
