Pretty & Polished - "Happy Hour" Collection (partial) review plus Bath & Body

Introducing the Pretty & Polished "Happy Hour" Collection!
This Cocktail inspired collection comes with 6 stunning Holographic infused shades named after some of your favorite Cocktail Hour refreshments. This Collection will be available for sale on July 10th 2015 at shopprettyandpolished.com.

In addition to 6 new polishes Pretty & Polished will be releasing an assortment of new Cocktail inspired Bath & Body Products, including Mani Melt Shooters scented and named after popular shots.  Today I've got two polishes for you and some bath goodies!

PURPLE NURPL Don't be fooled by the funny name, this is one HOT polish. Probably the most intriguing polish of the collection, this deep purple jelly has an insane amount of holographic sparkle coming from different shades of tiny holographic glitters. Full coverage in 2 layers.  I used one coat of top coat but is you have texture issues you may want to use another.

COSMOPOLITAN: A true Cosmo should be a bright pink frothy cocktail. And that is what you will get with this neon polish. This intensely pink polish is packed with pink and purple holographic glitters. Shown with two coats. I had no application issues with either of these polishes. Even though they are both chalk full of glitter they spread easily and evenly.

Mani Melts ($1.75-$3.50)
Some of these little babies fizz and others just melt right into hot water. All you have to do is drop, soak, and reap the benefits of having an ultra moisturizing experience! I got to try the Life's a Beach Mani Melt Duo featuring Beach Bunny, a delicious Piña Colada melt, and Beach Bum, an invigorating Pineapple scent.

Thess babies release a big bang of skin softening ingredients like sea salt, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, and vitamin E! I used the Beach Bum scent (pictured on the left, below) and soaked my hands for 10 minutes. They were soft and felt/smelled great afterwards! I even used the same mani melt water to soak my feet for 10 minutes afterwards! It is flip flop season after all!

Beauty Tip! Use a sugar scrub on your hands and nails before using your mani melt! Afterwards moisturize and apply a cuticle cream/oil to seal in that goodness!

Me Time Bath Bomb ($3.00)
Take some "Me Time" with this fun bath bomb that smells of champagne with under notes of whipped cream and chocolate. This Bath Bomb is approximately 2 oz each. This product can be used 1-2 times of you break or cut it in half. I used the whole bomb as I have a large tub and have to deal with the dry Colorado air! I need all the moisture I can get!

I would consider this along the lines of a bath truffle in that it makes your bath luxuriously smelling and nourishing for your skin. A must have!  Skin quenching ingredients includes: Sea Salt (which is detoxifying), Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E and Rose Petals.

Cosmopolitan Bubble Bomb ($6.50)
Bubble Bombs are an awesome combination of Bath Bomb and Bubble Bar. While your Bomb Fizzes in water it also makes a bubbling foam. You can enjoy a sweet smelling bath with bubbles that last and last!

I got to try the Cosmo inspired bubble bomb which had a fresh cranberry infused scent with hints of orange and lime. In addition to a great, fresh scent and LOTS of bubbles these are full of skin loving ingredients such as Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E.

To use:  Drop a good size piece of your bomb into warm water while the water is still running. The Bubble Bomb will fizz while releasing a foam that causes tons of bubbles! You need to keep your water running for the bubbles to reach their full potential. These Bubble Bombs are slow melting too so you only need a small piece and add to it for more bubble power!

Bubble Bombs are approximately 5 oz each and can be used more than once if you break or cut pieces off depending on the size of your tub and how much bubbles you want! I used half of the pictured bubble bomb for my large sunken tub. I was super happy with the amount of bubbles I got!  After a long soak my skin felt amazing1

As someone who enjoys a good cocktail or two this collection is really fun! I love the theme and the polishes are gorgeous and the bath products smell amazing and really nourish your skin! Whats not to love?

You can purchase the Happy Hour Collection on June 10th on the Pretty & Polished website. Be sure to check the bath & body section for a variety of Mani Melts, Me Time Bath Bombs, Bubble Bombs and Bubble Bars plus cuticle creams and sugar scrubs!
