Pahlish - Jungle Book & Tropical Trio, Swatches/Review

*Press Sample*

Earlier this week I showed you the July 'Mirror Images' duo from Pahlish and today I have two new Pahlish collections for you to love. Introducing the Jungle Book Trio and Tropical Trio!

I asked Shannon, the creator of Pahlish, about the inspiration behind this month's polishes and she told me this month was all about being lighthearted and fun! She wanted to really play around with new stuff and try out some new types of polishes that she don't make as often! Lucky Us!!

The Jungle Book polishes came out of getting some of the music from the Disney movie stuck in her head. Once it got in there she had to use it! The other trio was inspired by the wave of requests that she has received for the bespoke polish "Sarey's Berry" in new colors. That mix of flakes is one of the most asked for things in her lineup she wanted to deliver on that! I love that she is so connected to her customers!

Lets take a look a these beauties!

The Word of Bagheera is a deep violet linear holographic with bright purple sparks. This polish is seriously stunning. Beautiful holo, deep color and bright sparkle. Two coats, classic Pahlish formula.

Sunlight
Man's Red Flower is a neon peach holographic with subtle peach shimmer. This isn't an "in your face" neon (especially compared to Melon Baller from the Tropical Trio below). The peach shimmer in this is soft and lovely.

Sunlight

The Dawn Patrol is slightly neon teal holographic with subtle gold shimmer. This is my favorite of this trio because TEAL!!!! Shannon just killed it with this one. Two coats, classic Pahlish formula. I'm just going to pretend she made this just for me. The gold shimmer really comes out in the sunlight!

Sunlight

Melon Baller is a neon coral-orange jelly with a mix of silvery white, violet, and blue flakes. I used 3 coats for all the tropical polishes but you could likely get away with two. These polishes are all chalk full of flakies! The formula is a little thicker because of the flakies but is in no way a problem.

Sunlight

Watermelon Punch is an intense neon pink jelly with a mix of silvery white, violet, and blue flakes. Ultra PINK and ultra pretty. Love the depth that the flakes add to this polish. Again I used 3 coats but you could get away with two.

Sunlight

Japanese Moon Melon is a neon blue jelly with a mix of silvery white, violet, and blue flakes. Since I love blue this is my personal favorite from the Tropical Trio. Its just the perfect shade and the flakes are stunning! Shown with 3 coats.

These trio's as well as the July duo will be launching on Sunday July 5th at 7:00 pm (central time) on Pahlish's website. Plus the 'beat on the street' has it that there will also be a restock of 'The Light Brigade',  'Somewhere in Laredo' and fan favorite Mayfly!  The restock will be a preorder because there will only be two restocks in July because of Cosmoprof and travel. The second preorder will be on Sunday July 19th at 7:00 pm central.

Tell me what you think of this month's duo and two trio's? Which are your favorites? What are you planning to pick up this Sunday? I'd love to hear from you! Tell me below!
