F.U.N Lacquer - Love 2015 Collection - Partial Review

Recently Llarowe had a restock on F.U.N Lacquer (Fabulous Unique Nail) that included stocking the Love 2015 Collection. F.U.N Lacquers are all 5 FREE Handmade Nail Polish from Singapore.  I am on a quest to own premium indie polishes from all over the world and both F.U.N Lacquer and having something from Singapore were boxes I hadn't checked.

When I saw the swatches of these polishes I was mesmerized. I had to have a few! At $15.00-$16.00 each I told myself I had to limit myself to two.  (stupid things costing money and budgets and stuff....hmph!)

The dilemma? What to choose. The collection consists of 4 colors each with its matching version as a holo (8 polishes total). So I decided I needed to chose 2 colors one in each version. I settled on two, Unconditional Love (holo) and Eternal Love. And of course I have swatched them for you today!

Unconditional Love (H) is a holographic version of the original Unconditional Love multichrome polish. Unconditional Love (H) is added with a precise amount of fine and micro holographic glitter magic to add an incredibly sparkle to the polish. The intense color shift effect remains as spectacular as it always was!

Unconditional Love magically shift through an incredible array of super bright pink, violet, red, copper, gold and a stunningly vibrant green depending on the angle of your fingertips and the type of lighting you’re under! It is formulated to apply directly to the nail without the need for a base color.

I found this polish was very easy to work with. I used Glitter-a-Peel base coat as well Londontown  Kur Protective Top Coat for these swatches. The holo was fully opaque in 2-3 coats. The color shift in this polish is amazing. My favorite is when it gets to the burgundy/purple!

Eternal Love shifts through an array of incredible blues, purples, red and greens depending on the angle of your fingertips and the type of lighting you’re under. It is formulated to apply directly to the nail without the need for a base color. Fully opaque in 2-3 coats!

Eternal Love was the color I decided to get as the non-holo.  When I first saw the holo of Unconditional Love I was kicking myself for not getting it in a holo too. But I thought to myself I can always add a holo top coat to it if I feel like!  Plus it really is truly gorgous the way it is. Although it says you don't need a base coat, I always use one. The first and second coats were a bit streaky but the 3rd thin coat evened it all out.  Topped with Londontown Kur Protective top coat. This polish goes through so many variations of purple and blue depending on the light. If you are a "blurple" fan, such as myself this one is for you!

All F.U.N Lacquers products are 5-FREE and it are cruelty FREE. They have an entire list of international stockists on their website so LIKE their page for more information. These colors and many more are available in the US from Llarowe.

  6. I bought some of these in the holo and non-holo versions, but now I am debating whether I want to keep the holo ones. I'm not so keen on the bumpiness of the glitter. I wish she would do Spectraflair versions instead or in addition to the glitter ones.

  13. These are so gorgeous, but I have soooo many of these types by Doctor Lacquer and Diff Dimension that these would not get proper love :( The price is what really kills the deal :-/ But they have to charge more, coming by from Singapore. These swatches are gorgeous and the colors you chose look fab on you!!
