Anazoe Beauty - Nourishing Conditioner

Recently I won a giveaway from a new to me indie bath and body company to try a variety of their products. Included in all the amazing samples was a Lavender and Tea Tree Conditioner from Anazoe Beauty. Since the brand was different from the rest of the samples I reached out to the creator to see how this lovely item and reached my hands.

I learned that its creator, Sarah was actually the sister of the company's whose giveaway I had won. I wanted to know  little about what lead her to create Anazoe Beauty. Here is some of her story: "Last Summer I went through a stressful time and somehow it affected my hair. The damage was severe. My hair was falling out by the handful, breaking every time I brushed it, and was dull and drab. I spoke to my stylist about it and she suggested that it was the stress causing my issue. I tried everything I could to revive my once beautiful red locks. Nothing store or salon bought was helping, in fact, those products only made it worse. So, I set out to develop a product that would restore moisture and add luster to my hair again. I have done just that! My hair is beautiful once again!! Currently, I have just the one product, but I'm not stopping there! I am working on adding more and more!"

In addition to loving polish and all things beauty I've always been a hair product connoisseur. For me hair products generally fall into one of two categories, "over the counter" which is anything you can buy from a CVS and "professional" which are salon designed brands. I've probably tried everything on the market in the professional category. I'm a bit of a hair snob I admit it. I was skeptical that an indie product could convince me - who buys $60 a jar professional brands. But the smell was alluring so I gave it a go.

Anazoe Beauty's Nourishing Conditioner is color safe and made as naturally as possible. It is SLS, paraben, and silicone free. It contains added Shae Butter, Coconut Oil, Argon Oil, Silk and Keratin Protein, Pro Vitamin B5, a wonderful blend of Botanical Extracts, and pure Essential Oils, not just for scent, but for the amazing qualities that essential oils bring to hair care. Anazoe Beauty Nourishing Conditioner offers a healthy alternative to bring your hair back to life!

The conditioner itself is thick and and very rich. I initially thought that because of the thick texture that it may be hard to rinse out - boy was I wrong.  The conditioner works into hair easily - work through the ends and leave in 2-5 minutes.

While the scent is strong it leaves the hair soft and silky with a lovely (not too strong) scent. I like to rinse my hair at the end of my shower using cooler water to help lock in moisture to the hair's cuticle for added shine. After just one use my hair felt soft, silky, bouncy and smelled amazing. After a few days of use I noticed even more improvements in the texture, softness and natural shine. I've also used the conditioner on my daughters unruly, curly hair and its been like a dream come true. Taming the frizz and allowing the curls to bounce more freely. Plus she loves how it smells!

The conditioner is currently offered three scents: Lavender/Tea Tree, Peppermint/Rosemary, and Lemongrass.  I honestly like all the scents and have them above in order of my preference. The Lavender/Tea Tree is so calming, I like to use this one at night. The Tea Tree oil leaves almost a cooling sensation to your scalp.  The peppermint/rosemary reminds me of Aveda's signature scent but with a spin. And the Lemongrass is a truly clean smell.

I'm really excited to try the shampoo from Anazoe Beauty when its ready for it's debut! The nourishing conditioner is currently available in 2oz ($4.00), 4oz ($8.00) and 8 oz ($14.00) jars. All products are handcrafted and made to order. Be sure to LIKE Anazoe Beauty on Facebook for more information, product releases and ordering. You can also email anazoebeauty@yahoo.com for more information or ordering.

This conditioner has really impressed me and I hope you will give it a try! If you do be sure to pop back and let me know what you think! At just $4.00 for a 2oz sample its definitely worth giving it a go. I'm personally going to need a tub full of it in every scent depending on my "mood" that day.

Wishing you healthy, beautiful hair!
