What's Indie Bath? Paw-some Natural Bath & Body Review & Giveaway!

Its that time again to find out What's Indie Bath! Today's installment in my smell-erific journey is with Paw-some Natural Bath and Body. The inspiration behind the products is rustic kitchen, homemade, organic products. Paw-some works hard to source all of ingredients responsibly and are committed to making the most natural products possible. No parabens, no "safe synthetics", no ingredients lists that read like alphabet soup Just simple, natural, quality products.

As for the brand's name that inspiration undoubtedly comes for their love-bordering obsession with their dogs (they have three)! When they started the brand they wanted the name to be something close to their hearts, and they could think of nothing more close to their heart then puppy paws.

I love the logo, I can't even deny it. Its just adorable. So lets get right to it!
Original Bath Bomb-Lavender Vanilla

Our signature 2+ounce bath bomb, hand-made in a variety of fragrances. Rich in skin-loving Shea Butter, and Grapeseed oil-our bombs are a luxurious and relaxing treat that's also good for your skin.

These lovely bath bombs are available in three scents: Oatmeal, Milk & Honey- The soothing aroma of oatmeal, topped with warm milk and a touch of honey. Lavender Vanilla - A classic clean Lavender scent, kissed with notes of sweet Vanilla. Mermaid - Her center is comprised of pineapple, coconut, violet and jasmine and in reaching to her depths you will discover driftwood, sprinkled sugar and white musk.

The lavender bath bomb is beautifully studded with dried lavender which floats around in the bath. I thought the smell was very relaxing and romantic. Definitely add one of these to your order! Paw-some also offers a Mega Heart Bath Bomb that is twice the size of the original! Since I have a very large tub I'd order this  next time.
Skin Conditioning Lotion Bars

Our Skinditioning Lotion Bar is a perfectly portable way to keep dry, irritated skin moisturized and protected. Perfect for those that wash their hands often, or have dry, cracked elbows, knees and feet.To apply, place bar in hands to heat, and smooth over desired area.

How adorable are these bars with the paw print on them?! Have you ever used a lotion bar before? Think of these as a bottle of lotion condensed into a bar form. These are great for men or women. Kids also love them! I was actually recommending these to a friend the other day who has an issue with her kids dumping lotion all over the place. These are certainly less messy!

My toddler daughter has commandeered this from me. She loved the paw print and was super excited to use it and thought it was fun to rub it all over! I do recommend warming it a little between your hands (I rolled it like soap) before applying. The bar has vanilla extract in it and the vanilla scent is very subtle.

Paw-some Naturals is not heavy on the fragrance with their products. They do take customs orders and are happy to increase the level of fragrance on request. Since the creators both have sensitive skin, and are sensitive to heavy fragrances, they wanted to make a line that would appeal to not only themselves but to many others. Fragrance really comes second to the product's ability to moisturize and soothe the skin, lips, hands, cuticles etc.
Juicy Strawberry Lip Scrub

This yummy strawberry lip scrub will leave your dry, cracked lips exfoliated and nourished. Each small batch is handmade and poured, jars contain 1 ounce of product.

I have been using this scrub on my dry winter lips every other day or so. Its so sweet and juicy! I'm not even gonna lie I totally tasted it and its sugary and amazing. I don't recommend eating it but its sure hard not to.  I like to use lip scrub before I brush my teeth and then wipe with a warm, damp washcloth. Using a lip scrub makes your lipstick and lip gloss look so much better. No crusty lips here ladies!

Kissy Lips Balm

Our Kissy Lips balm glides on effortlessly to smooth and soothe chapped lips. Currently available in two tasty flavors. These balm are packed with Soybean Oil, Sunflower Oil, Natural Beeswax, Hemp Oil, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, and Flavor oil.

I've tried a lot of lip balms. At any given time you can find between 4-6 lip balms in my purse or on my desk. So needless to say I am critical about lip balms. Well, well, well. I've gotta say these balms are pretty awesome. Offered in two scents: Toasted Marshmallow and Orange Cream.

Mine have not gotten gritty at all which is a complaint I have with some indie lip balms. They are smooth and very moisturizing without being heavy or waxy/oily. I really love the orange creme one as the scent/flavor is subtle but sublime. I find myself reaching for this one over all the others. I will be buying more of these when these samples run out.

Cuticle Butter

This unscented cuticle butter was also a surprise winner in my book. Its not greasy and absorbs really fast. Filled with shea butter, almond oil, yellow beeswax, vitamin E, soybean oil, coconut oil and orange oil its really nourishing for your cuticles. If you get really close you can smell the orange oil every so faintly.

While its called cuticle butter be sure to apply it all around your nail bed (and into your nail if your digits are polish free)! Healthy, moisturized cuticles are the key to healthy nailbeds. Most common ailments for nails (think peeling, splitting, breakage) is due to dry cuticles.

If you are a tart warmer the brand also offers a monthly "Tarty for the Party" where you receive three hand poured soy wax tarts for only $3.50! February's Trio is "For Lovers Only" and all heart shaped! Scents include: Lovespell, Strawberries and Champagne and Peaches N' Cream.

Roxy - Isn't she so cute?!
