Color Club Seven Deadly Sins Collection - Partial Review & Swatches

The Color Club Fall 2014 Collection brings us the Seven Deadly Sins. This is a 7 piece, lightly textured, matte glitter set. Each of the deep, sexy hues was created to bring out the bad girl in all of us. Being sinful never seemed so glamorous.

Now I usually stay away from textured and matte polishes so what would posess me to try a few of these polishes? Well I innocently stumbled into them at my local Bed Bath & Beyond (did you know BBB sold polish and you can use a 20% off coupon?!?) and two of the colors caught my eye.

Friends With Benefits is a metallic lavender base with lavender micro glitters and small hex glitters mixed in.  I used two coats but this polish was almost a one coat wonder. It applied easily and dried quickly. The texture on this is minimal so if you are adverse to texture (like me) a good top coat will even that right out for you.

But lets talk about the color! The metallic is really complex, sort of gold, sort of silver with a hint of lavender. Its really lovely.  And warm metallic are very in this season!

You’re So Vain is a deep, gorgeous purple base with gold, copper and purple glitters mixed in.

This has just slightly more texture, but the consistency was on the thicker side and a little gooey. I think that is just because its SO packed with glitters!  It wasn’t impossible to apply, but I can see some having trouble with it. Here two coats did the trick.

(See all that texture?!)

There are 5 other colors in this line but I'm pretty happy with these two myself! If you can't find them locally you can get them at (my favorite international stockist) for $8.00 each. These retail at $8.50 on Color Club's website. Color Club is made in the USA with the highest-quality pigments and is free of harmful chemicals. Best of all, they are formulated for long-lasting wear, so don't worry about fading or chipping!

Tell me what other colors your loving from the collection and be sure to share your photos with me as well!

  1. I think there aren't Color Club polishes in Spain, and it's a pity because they have lovely polishes.

  2. I would recommend emailing them through their website and seeing if there are any retailers in Spain that may carry them! Good Luck~
