Mani Monday

Happy Labor Day to my fellow polish addicts in the US! We are celebrating the end of the summer at the beach!

Last night I decided I needed a polka dot mani for the beach today. Luckily I had brought along KB Shimmer "Shore Thing" and Zoya "Ling".

Shore Thing is part of KB Shimmers Anniversary Trio just released this summer. Described as a bright aqua-mint cream with blue-green undertones. Outdoors, this color is almost neon, while indoors it takes on a deeper dusty tone.  I personally see more green undertone then blue but either way it's beautiful.

Like other KB Shimmer polishes the formula is great and covers nicely with two thin coats.

Ling is my very fist Zoya Nail Color. I got this during a free color promotion since I LOVE blue. Ling is a blue creme, a sort of royal blue. The formula was good, it was easy to apply and the opacity was fantastic even after the first coat (I still used two).

Both colors produced great polka dots, which I did in 2 sizes.

I think I'm ready to hit the beach! Happy Labor Day!
